Job ID: T4H - 914 Job Summary The Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients. Responsibilities include circulating in C-section ORs, triage, titration of medications, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes in alignment with AWHONN standards.
Responsibilities
* Provide care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, stable antepartum patients, and well newborns * Perform circulating duties for C-sections * Manage and titrate drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, rare Insulin) * Support elective and medical inductions of labor * Participate in patient triage
Requirements
* Licensure: Active RN license * Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable (at least once), AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring * Experience:
* Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulating experience * Preferred: Triage experience
* Skills: Medication titration, strong patient care, collaboration
Schedule & Additional Details
* Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) * Schedule Policy: No more than 5 shifts in a row; efforts made to accommodate traveler requests outside of approved time off * Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Based on unit needs * Floating: Required to float to like units (Nampa L&D, Boise L&D); ~20 mins apart, notice provided * Call/Standby: Not required * Dress Code: Blue scrubs provided on unit
