* Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 09/17/2025 * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, days * Employment Type: Travel
Required Certifications ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Preferred Shift Notes EOW
ICU recent 1 year exp ILlicense required
? Clinical Practice & Skill Expectations
* Sheath Removal :
* You mention "prefer experience pulling sheaths"—is this a regular expectation or just an occasional skill needed? * Is there a protocol or team support in place when pulling sheaths?
* CRRT & ECMO :
* CRRT (Prismaflex) is "highly preferred." Will there be CRRT training provided during orientation if the nurse has minimal experience but is otherwise qualified? * ECMO: Since ECMO is noted as "at times," will travelers be expected to manage ECMO patients independently?
* Neuro-specific skills :
* For procedures like EVD, LP drains, and 24hr EEG monitoring—what level of neuro ICU experience is expected? Will travelers be expected to monitor EVDs and LP drains independently?
