About the Role
We're looking for a senior battery engineer to join our core technical team. This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone with a strong background in process development, prototyping, and a passion for building scalable, production-ready systems. We're seeking someone who is not only technically strong but also enthusiastic about making a real-world impact through battery innovation and helping to drive the future of clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
Prototype cell fabrication and validation: Partner with R&D to build, test, and refine early-stage solid-state battery prototypes.
Lead and train technicians: Supervise and mentor technicians, ensuring lab discipline and execution excellence.
Supplier engagement and material evaluation: Collaborate with suppliers to identify and qualify materials that enhance performance and reliability.
Process development and scale-up: Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable, high-throughput manufacturing processes with robust quality controls.
Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in lithium-ion or solid-state battery development, particularly in process engineering
Demonstrated success transitioning processes from lab-scale to pilot or low-volume production
Strong knowledge of battery materials, assembly techniques, and common failure mechanisms
Experience leading technical personnel and maintaining rigorous lab/process standards
