is seeking a certified and knowledgeable
Nuclear Medicine Tech
to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will work closely with physicians to obtain precise imaging and provide high-quality patient care while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging and therapeutic procedures. Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and related imaging equipment. Monitor and assess patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Follow all protocols for radiation protection, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards. Perform equipment checks and quality control tests as required. Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to interpret and deliver diagnostic results. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Current CNMT or ARRT (N) certification
required. State licensure
as applicable. Minimum 1 year of experience
in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred. Thorough understanding of radiopharmaceutical preparation, imaging protocols, and safety standards. Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills. Benefits
