Herrmann Ultrasonics is hiring for a Head of Operations! Immerse yourself into the fascinating world of ultrasonic welding! Herrmann Ultrasonics develops and builds machines that join plastics, packaging materials, nonwovens and metals with ultrasonic vibrations. This technology is suitable in many industries, such as medical, electronics, food and automotive. With nearly 700 global employees, based in 4 Headquarters and 22 Tech Centers, we are represented in 20 countries worldwide.
Job profile Responsibilities include production management, tooling design & manufacturing, project engineering, repair coordination, purchasing and shipping & receiving. Participate in the creation and further development of the value creation system for production based on the LEAN philosophy. Derive and implement the necessary measures Monitor productivity performance across area of responsibility. Developing and implementing measures to continuously increase productivity. Oversees the tooling design and manufacturing. Responsible for the quality, on-time and cost-effective manufacturing of ultrasonic tooling and components at Bartlett IL headquarters. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Technical or Electrical), Business degree or other comparable qualification At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Operations General manufacturing industry knowledge Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, PP, Word, Teams)
