Job Description Salary: $12.75-$15.25, Based on Experience Are you an experience in smokehouse operator and looking for a job where your knowledge and experience can make a difference? Look no further! Villari Foods is currently seeking a Smokehouse Operator to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.

At Villari Foods, the Smokehouse Operator monitors the smokehouses to meet company product goals and specifications. Employees control the flow of products into the houses and through the cooking cycle. Employee is responsible for overall machine operation to include emergency stoppages. Employees help maintain the machinery by performing periodic safety and equipment checks and documents on appropriate form for management review.

Job duties:

Responsible for start-up and shut-down of smokehouses and monitoring for leaks.

Monitor the machine and operations periodically through the day to ensure product quality remains consistent and of the highest standards.

Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.

Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

Observe and follow company safety rules, regulations and GMP and CCP procedures.

Responsible for documentation of CCP's, temperatures and weights, and batch numbers utilizing a computerized system.

Ensure woodchips and liquid smoke remain at adequate levels and maintain working inventory.

Responsible for loading and unloading smokehouses with meat carts loaded with product.

Must be trained in HACCP and SQF Protocol.

Preventing product waste is a key function of this position.

To qualify for this job, you must have:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or related field preferred.

Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to meeting internal customer requirements and continuous improvement objectives.
