Maintenance and Setup Supervisor

WeatherTech is seeking a well-qualified

Maintenance and Setup Supervisor

to oversee the overall plant maintenance, setup, and tooling along with the preservation of property, equipment, and inventory in a clean and orderly manner through safe and efficient practices.

As a Maintenance and Setup Supervisor you will Provide leadership to and supervise maintenance and set up personnel in a three shift manufacturing operation; enforce policies and procedures to meet and exceed goals Provide guidance, motivation,

mentoring/coaching,

and encouragement to employees regarding their questions or concerns Utilize CMMS to ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are addressed in a timely, proactive manner Initiate corrective, preventative, and continuous improvement opportunities through defined/documented channels and actively participate in developing, implementing, and verifying corrective and improvement actions Implement and facilitate training programs for all maintenance and set up personnel Prototype tooling, fixtures, and other aids to support production needs Provide continuous progress reports to all levels of Plant Management Schedule outside vendors for contract work as needed Partner with vendors to obtain competitive quotes for equipment, parts, and services as required Ensure workplace safety through the enforcement, auditing, and coaching of all applicable safety rules and requirements Coordinate and participate in emergency on-call maintenance support for all shifts and after-hours Recommend, enhance, and create maintenance, set up, and process improvement procedures. Verify that intended results are being achieved through auditing and monitoring of implementation, training, and operational use of procedures Assist maintenance or set up personnel as needed Work with other departments to meet their goals and the goals of the company Conduct daily meetings with maintenance and set up personnel Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company

policies/procedures Work a full-time schedule, work extended hours and/or weekends as business demands Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment Communicate clearly and work as part of a team Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications 5 years of prior experience in maintenance and set up of machinery such as injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, grinding machines 2 years of prior supervisory experience Must have electrical, welding, and PLC experience Knowledge of robots, packaging equipment, and other auxiliary processes Proficiency with the following computer programs/skills: Microsoft Office, CMMS,

inventory/manufacturing

software, and data search/entry Effective problem solving, decision making, employee management, and leadership skills Strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees as well as other departments within the company Must be authorized to work in the United States
