About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Safety and Security to lead and oversee all safety and security operations across its various sites, including the new stadium. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive safety and security operational plans, risk assessments, and policies specific to the new stadium's launch and operations. This role involves close collaboration with the Event Operations team to ensure that security protocols align with league and regulatory standards during matchdays, events, and non-event days. The VP will also be tasked with safeguarding players, staff, and guests through effective crowd management, threat mitigation, and emergency response planning, as well as constantly reviewing and researching developments in stadium and event safety and security to maintain best practices.

Applicants for the VP of Safety and Security position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent law enforcement experience, and a proven track record in safety and security management within high-profile sports, entertainment, or venue environments. The role requires expertise in emergency management, incident response, and critical incident planning, as well as proficiency in security technology and excellent leadership skills. The VP will be expected to ensure compliance with local and league safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and create after-action reports for continuous improvement. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in vendor contract negotiations, background in risk assessment and operational planning, and be trained in ICS or willing to complete the training within six months of employment.
