About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to play a pivotal role in scaling and inspiring the engineering organization. This hands-on leadership position involves leading the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, managing people, processes, and execution to ensure the platform evolves in line with customer needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational leadership of the engineering organization, including performance reviews, coaching, and setting clear expectations. They will also be tasked with building and retaining a high-performing engineering team, championing best practices in software development, and overseeing the planning and execution of engineering projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
Candidates for the VP of Engineering role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within high-growth environments. The role requires a proven track record in building distributed, cloud-native, or data-intensive systems, as well as deep technical expertise balanced with strong people leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a builder's mindset, be a strong communicator, and have the ability to align engineering with product, design, and business priorities.
