Vice President, Portfolio Construction and Risk About the Company Accomplished asset management firm Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Portfolio Construction and Risk team, with a focus on High Yield Credit. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fixed income and credit, ideally with a specialization in high yield and leveraged credit trading and investment strategies. This is a front office role that requires direct communication with Senior PMs and the Trading Desk, and the VP will be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge to the team, assisting in shaping portfolio strategy, interpreting risk signals, and providing quantitative insights to drive alpha.

Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in market/investment risk management, portfolio analytics, or credit trading, and be familiar with US and European high yield credit, leveraged loans, and corporate/leveraged credit markets. The role demands expertise in fixed income risk and performance metrics, as well as proficiency in fixed income performance attribution analytics, new data sources, risk analytics, and competitor analysis. The ideal candidate will be adept at using these tools to influence front office decision-making and will be a key partner for the investment teams in the commercial aspect of the role.
