The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for leading the engineering team in the design and development of energetic and electronic products for various markets, including launch vehicles, missiles, satellites, and warfighters.
The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline, a minimum of 15 years' experience in project, design, or related engineering, and a proven track record of leading products through all stages of development and into production. Key competencies for success in this role include lean and continuous improvement expertise, inspirational leadership, talent development, and a strong background in technical and industry expertise, particularly in high-mix, low-volume engineering environments. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, who is passionate about people, innovation, and continuous improvement. The candidate must also have the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance and be capable of working on U.S. DoD and ITAR restricted products.
