About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to spearhead a pivotal phase in its people transformation. This mission-critical leadership role demands a strategic and executional leader who can drive change and foster a culture where people and performance are inextricably linked. The successful candidate will be a consistent presence in the communities served, championing both the customer experience and the employee value proposition. Key responsibilities include partnering with the President and Senior Leadership Team to align talent with business objectives, leading workforce planning, and guiding change management. The role also involves overseeing talent acquisition and development, and ensuring a values-based culture that supports operational excellence.

Applicants for the SVP of HR position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in an executive role. A background in multi-division, enterprise-scale environments, particularly in heavy equipment and sales and service-oriented businesses, is preferred. The role requires a proven track record in building and transforming high-performing HR teams, as well as strong business and financial acumen. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, values-driven, and results-oriented leader, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's or HR certification is a plus). Leadership attributes should include agility, curiosity, resilience, and a strong advocacy for frontline employees. The SVP of HR will be responsible for creating and overseeing the company's HR strategy, including talent acquisition, development, and retention, as well as performance and total rewards.
