About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Finance to serve as the Head of Finance for the Hospital. This key leadership role is responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring the financial integrity, sustainability, and performance of the Hospital. The successful candidate will lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics, and will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to promote value-based care, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. Essential duties include overseeing the development and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets, long-range financial forecasts, and strategic financial plans, as well as providing executive-level financial insights and managing financial performance. The role also involves championing data governance, and financial analytics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
Candidates for the Executive Director of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree or CPA strongly preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a complex healthcare provider organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hospital and healthcare financial operations, strategic planning, capital management, and healthcare reimbursement. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and executive-level presentation is required, as is experience with financial systems and enterprise analytics platforms.
