Agency Asset Manager I- Commercial Real Estate
The Asset Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of an assigned portfolio of loans, with primary focus on monitoring risk while providing exceptional customer service. This position will be a member of the Agency Finance Asset Management team.
Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements and property operating statements
Conduct property inspections
Review reserve draws
Process lender consent requests, including related review of loan documents and other agreements
Manage client relationships, providing excellent customer servicing while enforcing loan document/lender requirements.
Perform ongoing risk analysis, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring
Prepare loan and portfolio level status reports
Comply with all Investor monitoring and reporting requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 4 years of experience in commercial real estate
At least 3 years of government-sponsored enterprise experience with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or commercial mortgage-backed security experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
3+ years of experience with Fannie Mae loan asset management
Certified MBA property inspector
Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial analyses
Proficiency in analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower financial statements and in modeling complex financial scenarios
Strong written and oral communication skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Agency Asset Manager I
Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Agency Asset Manager I
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
