Job Summary
As a
Finance & Insights Specialist , you will step into a critical role within our Travel Services team. You will drive the financial integrity of our luxury travel offerings, leveraging your accounting skills and serving as the analytical backbone for weekly ARC reporting, vendor reconciliations, and variance analysis across air, hotel, and transfer services. Collaborating with Treasury, Accounting, and operational teams, you will ensure precise revenue and cost tracking, contributing to operational excellence and an enhanced guest experience.
Essential Functions
Prepare and process weekly ARC reports, hotel reconciliations, and invoices. Manage refunds, voids, penalty ticket calculations, and ticket exchanges, ensuring compliance and financial correctness. Serve as the primary expert for the Trams Back Office (TBO) accounting system. Executing standard and ad hoc reports for corporate and guest travel revenue analysis. Investigate debit memos thoroughly, deliver constructive coaching, and maintain detailed records to support frontline team performance. Facilitate vendor verifications and deposit processing for hotel partners, maintaining strong vendor relationships. Reconcile vendor invoices against manifests and collaborate proactively to resolve discrepancies. Manage deposit and final payment processing for hotels and other Travel Services vendors efficiently and promptly. Maintain comprehensive revenue and cost tracking by voyage for air, hotel, and transfers, providing detailed financial insights. Prepare pricing structures and budgets for hotel and transfer programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate closely with the Travel Services Air, Hotel, and Transfer operations teams to maintain and update the cost and pricing database within the reservations system, ensuring accurate and dynamic program management. Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners, fostering communication and operational synergy.
Competency
Education
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred
Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in travel agency accounting, ARC processing, or related financial roles Solid foundational accounting knowledge with demonstrated experience in reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting ARC certification is highly desirable Basic proficiency in Amadeus is required; experience with Trams Back Office (TBO) systems is a plus Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities Results-driven mindset with excellent decision-making capabilities and the ability to prioritize competing demands Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service across all teams and departments Quick learner with the capacity to understand and apply internal policies and procedures related to reservations and special services Strong organizational skills, with an aptitude for presenting data clearly and concisely Consistently professional and positive demeanor when interacting with colleagues and external partners
