Job Summary This position is responsible for designing enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements. The role involves serving as a technical designer to identify the best solution and create technical specifications within the limits of the code environment. It links Business Analyst needs and Architect definitions to technical solutions. The role also includes ensuring the integrity, security, scalability, and daily availability of the databases supporting the Facets Platform applications for government business through proactive monitoring and management activities.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor Degree and 4 years of Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years of Information Technology experience OR 8 years of Information Technology experience.
Knowledge of application configuration.
Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.
Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS.
Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5.
Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY.
Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, VB Script, XML.
Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Strong troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of scheduling systems (Control M).
Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#.
Experience with rapid prototyping.
Requirements definition & management.
Familiarity with SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.
System performance management.
Conceptual and creative thinking.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Ability to execute and lead technical solution implementation.
Experience with Trizetto Facets and Advanced Batch Framework.
Data Modeling skills.
Ability to analyze Facets data model and prepare mapping documents for reporting needs.
