Manager
to join our growing team. At Gen II, you will gain deep exposure to the full private equity fund lifecycle, including newly launched and first-to-market funds in sports, oil and gas, real estate, credit, and more. You will lead and mentor teams supporting top-tier sponsors while driving process improvements, expanding your expertise, and contributing to the continued success of one of the industry's most respected platforms. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining Gen II’s standard of technical excellence, client service, and operational integrity. Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
Work closely with the Director/Managing Director managing daily Fund Operations Manage the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently Interface and manage client/business relationships with limited guidance Review and extract key economics from LPAs and other governing documents, and document summaries Supervise, manage, and direct a small accounting staff, if required Oversee the setup of client funds' deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs), review, and sign off prior to Director/Managing Director review Perform analyses of financial reports, capital events, and complex private equity transactions Job Requirements, Skills, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 7+ years of relevant Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge to client solutions Adaptability to changing processes in a dynamic environment Management and supervisory experience Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Experience:
CPA certification Knowledge of Investment Company Accounting (ASC 946), economics, fund structures, and investor classifications Experience with US GAAP (ASC 946) and IFRS reporting Experience with governing documents like LPAs, Advisory Agreements, Side Letters, Fee Agreements Hands-on experience with private equity fund accounting, including blockers, SPVs, AIVs, co-investments The salary range for this position is $90,000-$170,000, plus discretionary bonus and benefits. Actual salary depends on experience. Work Arrangement
