We have an exciting opportunity for a professional Payroll Manager to join Camber Corporation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication skills. The Payroll Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. They will act as a liaison between the HR department, finance team, and employees regarding payroll concerns.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Monitor all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization's payroll processing objectives, including relationships with external auditors and government agencies. Process a complex bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple entities and states. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accruals, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.). Verify employment, unemployment claims, garnishments. Support audits, 401(k), workers' compensation, and other reporting requirements, including data gathering and analysis. Audit all new hires, rehires, employee changes, process terminations, and issue final payments on wisely cards. Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll. Stay current on payroll systems to align with HR benefits and ensure effective accounting support. Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal wage and hour laws for multi-state payroll. Coordinate integration and setup of new pay groups for acquired companies. Process tips, commissions, and bonus files. Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the general ledger. Review and improve current processes and procedures for efficiency and technology use. Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent management experience in real estate/hospitality organizations. Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and follow procedures thoroughly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, ADP Workforce Now - Enhanced Time & Attendance. Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with employees at all levels.
