Associates are responsible for framing research approaches, managing projects, and supervising team/staff while building individual expertise. As they gain valuable hands-on project experience, Associates also become more involved in developing client relationships and marketing and business development efforts. Ideal Associate Candidates Will Possess

An MBA with an academic or professional background in Finance, Valuation and/or Accounting Excellent foundation in quantitative analysis, and/or several years of relevant work experience (preferably in a consulting, investment banking, asset management, auditing or similar environment) Demonstrated record of outstanding academic and/or professional accomplishment Intellectual curiosity, including a drive to think creatively about complex finance, valuation, business strategy, and accounting issues Excellent analytic and quantitative skills, along with practical problem-solving abilities (including proficiency in Excel; experience with statistical software such as Stata or R also helpful) An aptitude for, and interest in, expressing complex ideas through written reports and presentations An entrepreneurial drive to build their own business and brand while contributing to the firm Desire to work, learn, and lead within a collaborative team environment To be considered for the Associate position, please submit the following materials: Cover letter that describes your interest in economic and financial consulting and states your location preference Resume Undergraduate transcripts and MBA course list (unofficial copies accepted) Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in the United States is $188,000 - $198,000 annually. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
