Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Communications and Information Directorate (N6), Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT). The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will serve as an Information Technology Vulnerability Manager / Compliance Manager (VM/CM) in support of the Communications and Information Directorate (N6), Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT). You will be the Security Manager for Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and manage vulnerability and compliance scanning for various systems. You will manage Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) ensuring assets are maintained in a secure state and up to date on required point products. You will ensure compliance with DOD, DON and COMPACFLT Cyber Security established and emergent guidance for Headquarters-accredited systems and installed Programs of Record (POR). You will perform Information Assurance and cyber security administration, in-depth assessment of network security, physical security; cyber security compliance and identification of operational risks to the DOD Information Network. You will develop a comprehensive vulnerability management process that includes the systematic identification and mitigation of software and hardware vulnerabilities throughout COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex). You will monitor COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex) Certification and Accreditation program of record (POR) and corporate asset status. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and implementing Information Technology cyber security procedures, regulations and policies for the administration or operation of system networks to ensure accreditation and compliance in accordance with established guidelines. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
