Mid-Level .NET Software Developer with an active Secret clearance
to lead and deliver complex software development projects that drive real impact. Summary:
This role demands technical excellence, leadership insight, and a strong customer-first mindset. The candidate will be instrumental in translating business needs into robust, scalable solutions using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, while mentoring other developers and championing Agile/SCRUM practices. Work location:
Onsite (Mon-Fri on customer site in Washington DC) Clearance
: Active Secret Key Responsibilities Lead and manage mid-to-large scale software development projects from concept to deployment Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.) Apply Agile/SCRUM methodologies to manage iterative development cycles and deliver high-quality software Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software design and architecture Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases as needed Required Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in .NET development Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns Deep experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and manage junior team members Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices U.S. Citizenship required to meet government contract requirements. Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
