Our client, a midsize CPA firm with multiple offices in Wisconsin, is seeking an Audit Manager or Senior Manager with experience in Government Agencies, Nonprofit Organizations, and/or Charter Schools. The position can be located in Madison or Milwaukee. Primary Responsibilities: Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements Demonstrate professional creativity in client matters and suggest improvements to client operations Analyze client transactions, identify and resolve potential or existing problems through research and consulting Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments Oversee, mentor, and develop staff #LI-JH1 Job Requirements
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm Experience with Government Agencies, Nonprofit Organizations, and/or Charter Schools Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting required CPA licensure required Excellent client service and communication skills Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills Entrepreneurial spirit Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational and verbal/written communication skills Login to save this search and get notified of similar positions.
