(Central Time). The focus of this role will be originating business in North America and South America across refined products with the ability to cross pollenate into gas, NGLs, LNG, & renewables. The position requires in depth knowledge of commodity flows, asset infrastructure, and market players within those regions. The selected candidate will work with a global, cross-commodity teams to identify and secure opportunities that are an ideal fit to the Chevron trading portfolio. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Identifies, pursues, and captures new supply/offtake agreements for S&T’s global portfolio with a focus on cross-commodity, cross-regional, cross-functional, and/or non-standard complex customer solutions.
Originates opportunities through targeted customer solutions including physical optimization, financing, and risk management.
Provides end-to-end deal management; ensures transaction structures, risks and trade-offs, execution options, negotiation mandates and stakeholder engagement plans are defined and evaluated; ensures impacts to trading exposure are understood by internal stakeholders.
Cultivates strong network of internal and external contacts, drives market intel and business leads.
Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
10+ years of experience in commercial, business development, trading and/or origination
Preferred Qualifications: Origination and Commercial:
strong background in closing complex commercial transactions through commercial negotiations, business development, trading and/or origination.
track record of originating physical flows, logistics optimization, structured finance, and/or risk management products
cross-commodity trading acumen is highly desired.

ability align & inspire stakeholder groups that are cross commodity, cross regional, cross value chain, and/or cross functional
