Infosys is seeking a Big Data Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Richardson, TX or Tampa, Florida
or be willing to relocate. Travel to project locations may be required. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field may substitute for each year of education. At least 11+ years' experience in OSS/BSS Domain and Telecom Industry as a Solution Architect. Database expertise: Big Data (Data warehouse, ETL), SQL, Non-SQL (Mongo, Neo4J, etc.). Cloud-native application development with Docker, Kubernetes. Cloud framework expertise: Openstack, OpenShift, AWS, GCP. Knowledge of telecom industry standards and relevant technical architecture. 5+ years of leadership experience in design teams. Basic understanding of Cloud concepts. Proven experience in creating solutions in OSS/Service Fulfillment/Service Assurance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in creating solutions addressing customer requirements in OSS/Service Fulfillment/Service Assurance. Knowledge of TM Forum, MEF, SID, and related processes and components in service provisioning, assurance, and operations management. The job involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication may be via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per job needs.
