Salary range: $90,000/year - $140,000/year DOE Bayley Construction seeks a collaborative, creative, and experienced Marketing Manager to lead pursuit strategy, proposal development, brand positioning, and marketing operations supporting three offices: Mercer Island, WA; Lake Forest, CA; and Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves working cross-functionally to develop high-quality proposals and marketing materials reflecting Bayley's values and capabilities. Key Responsibilities
Lead responses to RFQs, RFPs, and interview materials from kickoff to submission. Facilitate pursuit strategy sessions, align messaging, assign content, and plan interviews. Write, edit, and design proposal content per brand standards. Collaborate with teams and consultants for visual deliverables. Maintain a library of proposal assets. Partner with project teams for tailored content. Mentor junior staff in proposal best practices. Support interview prep and presentation materials.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Oversight Create and maintain brochures, project sheets, signage, and qualification documents. Manage creative partners. Update website and social media content. Produce marketing communications and manage email campaigns. Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Support marketing initiatives across offices. Foster collaboration among teams. Develop creative campaigns to enhance industry presence. Track proposal and marketing performance. Assist preconstruction and estimating teams with marketing needs. Organize marketing assets and promotional inventory. Coordinate photography and headshots.
Professional Development Stay current with industry trends through workshops and seminars. Qualifications
Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent). 7+ years in A/E/C or professional services marketing, including proposals. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Graphic design skills a plus. Ability to translate technical info into compelling content. Experience with CRM and digital asset management tools a plus. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills. Leadership and mentorship abilities. Visual and brand awareness. Creative under pressure and deadline-driven. Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Primarily office-based with occasional travel. Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
