Description: The unit consists of a total of 854 beds with a staffing level of approximately 120 personnel. The day shift has 15-20 Respiratory Therapists for adult service lines and 3-4 for NICU/Peds service lines. The night shift includes 12-16 Respiratory Therapists for adult service lines and 3-4 for NICU/Peds service lines. Patient care ratios range from 10 to 25 patients. The type of equipment utilized includes GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vents, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Candidates with the specified skills will be prioritized for this role. A typical procedure performed on the unit is included in the responsibilities of the role. The dress code for this position requires medium gray/pewter scrubs. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of four weekend shifts within a six-week schedule.
