Job Duties
- Design, test, and integrate robotics algorithms for robotic manipulators, mobile platforms, and humanoid systems with high degrees of freedom.
- Build and optimize deep learning pipelines, including data processing, model design, and deployment.
- Independently take robotic systems from concept and raw parts to fully functional prototypes.
- Develop high-quality, well-tested software using modern engineering practices.
- Create and maintain simulation models for manipulation and motion testing.
- Evaluate robotic solutions, making technical trade-offs to balance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- 3+ years of experience working in robotics, AI, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python and practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following: manipulation, locomotion, navigation algorithms, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or generative modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing, testing, and deploying robotic solutions in research or production.
- Ability to rapidly build and iterate systems from the ground up.
- Familiarity with both classical robotics approaches and modern machine learning techniques, with an understanding of tradeoffs between them.
- Strong track record of producing robust, high-quality software at speed.
- Availability to collaborate on-site full-time
- Prior work with robot learning systems or large generative models.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where solutions require creativity and exploration.
