Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: Cath Lab Tech Location:Pleasant Prairie, WI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills: Perform accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Assist as room circulator and scrub tech, maintaining sterile field Use vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose Support a wide range of procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, electrophysiology studies, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertion, ECMO, IABP, and temporary pacemaker insertion Maintain equipment, inventory, supplies, and ensure infection control with sterile technique Work in diagnostic cardiac cath lab, EP lab, interventional cardiac cath lab, and interventional radiology Call required: rotating weekday and every 3rd weekend on-call Work with adult patients in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment Required Experience and Certifications: Minimum 1 year experience as Cath Lab Tech with travel experience required Previous charge experience required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R, state license preferred Preferred teaching and community hospital experience Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred Wisconsin/compact license required upon submission Locals accepted within 50 miles radius No first-time travelers accepted; must have prior travel experience Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts 5 procedure rooms, daily census approx. 10 patients On-call compensation, holiday pay, and overtime applicable Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
