Candidate will work with an adult to geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. No electrophysiology studies or ablations are performed in this setting. EKG settings and experience are required. Candidates must be able to obtain vitals and interpret rhythms, particularly sinus node rhythms. Experience with pacemakers is preferred. The unit will typically have 3 rooms with a daily average census of 8-10 patients. Unit systems include Epic, which is required, along with Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge as preferred. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Floating may be required within the department and facility. Call requirements include being available for 10 call days per month. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time; failure to comply could result in a delay. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to assess fit. Additional requirements include providing supervisory references as preferred. Travel experience is required.
