Assembler
Job Summary:
Primero Staffing is seeking motivated and reliable Assemblers to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building carts from individual components using assembly line methods. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble shopping cart components (frames, wheels, baskets, handles, etc.) according to standard operating procedures. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, blueprints, or schematics. Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE while operating equipment and tools. Maintain a clean, organized work area and contribute to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Report defective materials or equipment to line supervisor immediately. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Prior experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly is a plus. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Basic math, reading, and measurement skills. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on feet for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours/day). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable attendance and punctuality are a must. Work Environment:
Indoor manufacturing floor; may be noisy or dusty in certain areas. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate physical exertion. Primero Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
