Job Description Description: We are seeking a passionate and proactive
Mental Health Outreach Coordinator
to lead and support community engagement initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, accessibility, and utilization of mental health services. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in mental health, social services, or community outreach, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement & Outreach Plan, develop, and implement outreach programs to promote mental health awareness. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations. Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and workshops. Education & Advocacy Facilitate educational workshops and presentations on mental health topics. Develop culturally appropriate outreach materials and educational content. Program Coordination Assist in the design and evaluation of outreach programs and initiatives. Monitor outreach metrics and provide regular reports to leadership. Coordinate with clinical and support staff to ensure a streamlined referral process. Administrative Support Track outreach activities and maintain accurate records. Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 2–4 years of experience in mental health outreach, case management, or community engagement. Knowledge of mental health issues, resources, and best practices. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with social media and digital outreach strategies.
