Job Description Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 7a-5p with rotating weekends, First to Float Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: California State certification, CTNM (Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine) Certifications: NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board) or ARRT-N (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Nuclear), BLS
Must-Have: - California State certification, CTNM - One national certification (NMTCB or ARRT-N) - BLS
Description: This role requires a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The candidate will work in Nuclear Medicine. The Technologist will perform imaging studies and procedures. Weekday availability between 7 am and 5 pm is essential. The position also requires rotating weekend coverage. Three GE Nuclear Medicine cameras are in use. Common types of imaging studies performed include Nuclear Medicine studies. No experience as a Clienttion Safety Officer (RSO) is needed. The schedule guarantees 40 hours per week. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is completed using an electronic medical records system. This position is within an acute care setting. Candidates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
