Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.
Job Responsibilities: Access and utilize ORF, RIS and VSDM capabilities to review and document appropriateness of all incoming diagnostic orders. Ensure procedure orders are appropriate for clinical indications. Responsible for contacting referring providers, documenting all changes to orders and name of referring office staff and/or radiologist spoken to in patient file exam notes. Notify scheduling and preauthorization staff of same day / next day exams. Assure documentation and notification to schedulers of all schedule modifications required. Provide accurate orders for scheduling and pre-authorization. Inform referring office of need to re-authorize exam, as a result of changed exam/order. Verify and document in patient file exam notes existence of outside previous imaging for comparison. Notify Central File Room of same. Document clarification and details regarding exams to ensure physician, technical, scheduling, preauthorization, and billing staff have concise information. Provide education and mentoring to referring office staff, ISJ technical, Central Scheduling and Pre-authorization staff. Experience/Skill Requirements:
Ability to use various computer programs such as RIS, VSDM, ORF and Outlook to view clinical orders and communicate with other departments. Excellent customer service and phone etiquette required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented. Must possess critical decision making skills. Willingness and ability to work through established protocols. Ability to locate clinical information and standards when needed. Education Requirements:
ARRT (MR) required with ARRT (CT) registry preferred Minimum of 5 years work experience in the modality(s) required, 10 years experience preferred
Compensation is between $37.00 to $52.00 per hour based on experience
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.
