This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized echocardiogram services for both inpatient and outpatient cases within a community hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform echocardiograms, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).- Conduct bubble studies and various echocardiographic assessments using Philips equipment and other specialized devices.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call every third weekend and two weeknight calls until 2200. Qualifications: - Current California State License as an Echocardiography Technician.- Certifications: BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS-Adult.- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in performing echocardiograms, with travel experience preferred.- Familiarity with Epic charting system.- Ability to float to other units or nearby sister facilities as needed. Facility Overview: - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital- Total Staffed Beds: 200- Daily Caseload per Technician: 16 patients- Free parking available for all staff.- Community environment dedicated to patient-centered care. Patient Demographics: - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics- Common Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Atrial Fibrillation (A Fib), Stroke (CVA), Shortness of Breath (SOB), Myocardial Infarction (MI). Additional Information: - Orientation hours: 16- Requirements include the willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.- Remote completion of training modules prior to assignment start is expected.
