Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Albany, NY Duration: Contract Pay Rate: $65 - $70 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with a strong background in integration design and development for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with APIs, batch processes, SOA, and enterprise-level application development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex integration applications including APIs, batch, and asynchronous processes. Troubleshoot and optimize integration solutions to ensure performance and scalability. Develop secure web services and REST/SOAP APIs for seamless application integration. Utilize message queue processing (IBM MQ preferred) and Enterprise Service Bus technologies. Implement Entity Framework for database interaction and management. Conduct unit testing using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit. Utilize distributed version control systems (Git) to manage code effectively. Design and implement CI/CD workflows to automate and streamline deployment processes. Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient and collaborative development. Provide technical leadership on complex projects and ensure adherence to best practices Required Qualifications
More than 7 years of experience on complex projects with 2+ years in a leadership role as a Developer. 7+ years of experience in integration application (API, batch, async) design and development with complex business logic. 7+ years developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. 7+ years of experience designing, documenting, and implementing integration processes using .NET C#. 7+ years with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web service development (SOAP/REST). 4+ years developing with message queue processing (IBM MQ preferred) and/or Enterprise Service Bus. 7+ years working with Entity Framework. 7+ years of experience using unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit preferred). 5+ years with distributed version control systems (Git). 2+ years designing and implementing CI/CD workflows. 2+ years in Agile/Scrum environments. 2+ years of experience working in a federal or state government setting (Health and Human Services experience preferred).
