We are seeking a highly experienced
Salesforce Solution Architect
with deep expertise in
Financial Services Cloud (Insurance Cloud)
to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role requires strong domain knowledge of insurance processes and systems, combined with technical architecture skills to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated Salesforce implementation.
The position is open to candidates
anywhere globally , but requires
availability to work in PST (California) time zone . This is a
6-12 months contract role .
Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud with a focus on Insurance Cloud capabilities Define and design data models and process flows covering insurance objects such as Policies, Coverages, Claims, Billing, Households, and Producers/Agencies Support functional requirements across the insurance policy lifecycle (Quote Underwriting Bind Service Renewal Claims) Architect Salesforce solutions leveraging Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, as well as CPQ when applicable Drive integration strategies with Policy Administration Systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco), Claims Management, and Billing platforms Ensure alignment with ACORD standards and industry-specific data exchange models Apply OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, OmniScripts) to automate insurance workflows Oversee DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, Git-based workflows) and environment strategy Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, NAIC, and IFRS-17 Run workshops and solutioning sessions with business stakeholders, translating business requirements into Salesforce architectures Act as design authority, mentoring admins, developers, and consultants across delivery teams Requirements
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years working with Financial Services Cloud (Insurance Cloud add-on) Strong knowledge of insurance vertical processes: Life, Health, and Property & Casualty (P&C) Hands-on experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions for policy lifecycle management, claims, and servicing models Proficiency with OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors) for insurance process automation Expertise across Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds Proven experience integrating Salesforce with Policy Admin, Claims, and Billing systems Familiarity with ACORD standards and insurance-specific integration patterns Strong grasp of Salesforce platform fundamentals including data model, security, APIs, and integration patterns Knowledge of middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Heroku) is a plus Excellent client-facing and communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and present to executive stakeholders Salesforce certifications: Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional (Insurance), Application Architect/System Architect, OmniStudio Consultant, Integration Architect (highly desirable)
