Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Admin Data Entry Clerk / Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations. This dual-role position is responsible for accurately entering logistics data into systems, managing documentation, and ensuring the efficient receipt and verification of incoming shipments. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry & Administrative Duties:
Input shipment, inventory, and delivery data into ERP or warehouse management systems. Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments. Generate reports and assist with inventory reconciliation. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment status. File and organize shipping documents, invoices, and receipts. Receiving Duties: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. Record discrepancies or damages and report to the appropriate department. Label and sort received items for storage or distribution. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (if certified). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or logistics certification is a plus. 1+ years of experience in logistics, data entry, or warehouse receiving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Forklift certification. Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
