Job Description Electrical Engineer in Long Beach Direct Hire / Permanent Placement, $120k-$180k Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, full benefits, 401k match, 4 weeks vacation, tuition reimbursement, snacks, etc. About EPC STAFF We collaborate with Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Firms, as well as MEP Consultancies nationwide. We also have additional opportunities in Southern California. The Client A 30+ year-old MEP+ firm specializing in Healthcare, Science & Technology, Education, Aerospace, Federal projects, and more. Overview The ideal candidate will have experience with medium-voltage infrastructure design (2.4kV-35kV). Responsibilities include working on switchgear, transformers, medium-voltage equipment, underground distribution systems, shore power design, and related calculations. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct site visits and field surveys at federal project sites Review as-built drawings, perform schematic design, feasibility studies Handle construction administration tasks such as RFIs, punch walks, and preparing punch lists Manage projects, mentor team members, and prepare proposals Required/Highly Preferred Qualifications BSEE or similar degree Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM/ETAP Knowledge of NEC standards 5+ years of related experience EIT, PE, LEED AP certifications are a plus
