Job Description We are currently looking for a Sr. Software Quality Assurance for our team. The successful candidate will work in a team of highly motivated and talented software engineers, responsible for delivering new capabilities on the 7750 Service Router (SR) in Nokia's IP Division. The Nokia 7750 SR product family provides high-performance networking solutions that support evolving service demands driven by the cloud, LTE/5G, and the Internet of Things. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Lead and perform development activities of high complexity features. Support a small team or multiple features in project completion, providing technical leadership. Engage in technical discussions about enhancements and improvements within your expertise area. Create architecture components focusing on performance and scalability. Drive non-functional requirements within the team. Handle complex customer issues effectively. Improve the code base to enhance product behavior and ensure quality delivery of complex features. Key Skills And Experience Knowledge (and experience, if possible) of routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP) and signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP). Experience with Linux and programming/scripting languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, or shell scripting. Knowledge of NFV, SDN, Virtualized Switching products, and virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU, Xen, VMware ESXi) is a plus. Experience in IP networking testing and troubleshooting. Familiarity with networking test tools (IXIA, Spirent, IPerf, Wireshark, etc.). Strong problem-solving, communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork. Accountability for quality, accuracy, and efficiency; ability to analyze and develop recommendations for complex problems. Ability to work with minimal supervision and use nonstandard approaches. Innovation, initiative, and adaptability to changing environments. Willingness to take on new roles and influence others in adopting new practices. Cross-cultural awareness and a global mindset. Management experience or advanced professional skills involving theory and organizational practices. 4-6 years of relevant experience or higher degree.
