Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will drive technical decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to product architecture and best practices will be key aspects of your role.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop complex, scalable, and reliable software systems.
  • Lead technical decisions, including architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring quality through testing and reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability challenges.

What you'll bring

  • Strong problem-solving skills, experience in distributed programming, micro-services architecture, Java, Spring, GoLang.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, MemcacheD, Kafka, Cloud DB technologies.
  • Experience in monitoring and triaging distributed applications at scale.
  • Experience in building highly available, distributed, scalable, cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems, feature flagging, and experimentation is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of software engineering experience.
Option 2: 5 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in relevant fields and 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive digital experience practices are valued.
