SourceIQ is a cloud-native supplier sourcing platform designed for modern procurement teams. We help mid-market and enterprise buyers automate supplier discovery, RFP matching, and supplier engagement using AI and real-time data pipelines. Our mission is to modernize how companies source and manage vendors, saving time, reducing complexity, and driving better supplier outcomes.
We’re currently building our MVP2 and preparing for pilot rollouts with several large procurement teams. We're looking for a technical lead who can guide system architecture, scale our infrastructure, and help our team execute sprints cleanly and confidently.
What You’ll Own
We’re seeking a technical leader who can operate as both an architect and an execution mentor—guiding developers, keeping the codebase clean, and owning platform cohesion across backend, data, and AI systems.
You’ll

• Design and maintain the overall architecture across all layers of the platform
• Define sprint structure, manage technical execution, and unblock devs efficiently
• Ensure scalable integration between AI services, API infrastructure, and UI modules
• Lead deployment design (Azure Cloud), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Review developer code for consistency, security, and architecture alignment
• Make technical tradeoffs when it matters—fast delivery vs long-term scalability
• Collaborate directly with the founder to evolve product requirements into buildable specs

• AI Services: Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure Form Recognizer
• Data Layer: Cosmos DB (MongoDB API), Azure Blob Storage
• Frontend: React/Next.js
• Infra: Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Auth: OAuth2, Azure SSO, RBAC
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years engineering experience with cloud-native architecture (Azure preferred)
• Strong in Node.js, TypeScript, DevOps pipelines, and microservice scaling
• Experience leading engineering teams or managing sprint execution
• You’ve scaled or built enterprise-grade SaaS platforms before
• Familiarity with secure API design, modular backend architectures, and data pipeline reliability
• Bonus: past experience in procurement, compliance, or enterprise SaaS domains
