We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. This position plays a key role in the strategic direction of our company and requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of complex financial concepts and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a company's financial operations and ensuring the company's financial plans are aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
As the Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
- Advising the management team on the financial implications of business decisions and strategies.
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports to the management team and board of directors, including current financial status, cash flow projections, and financial trends.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensuring all financial practices and processes are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Coordinating with external auditors and managing internal controls.
- Providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
- Participating in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Director of Finance position, candidates must meet the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, control, and auditing.
- Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex financial information.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
