The successful candidate will be accountable for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures. This position requires critical thinking and scientific judgment, as well as leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.- Utilize critical thinking skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.- Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education opportunities.- Delegate patient care priorities based on team members' education and experience levels.- Provide direction and supervision for assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery.- Float between departments, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and possibly Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Emergency Department (ED) as needed.- Ensure compliance with patient care ratios and guidelines, typically 1:6 in general units and 1:4-5 in the ED holding area. Qualifications: - Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.- Flexibility to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.- Willingness to float between different departments and potentially to sister facilities. Additional Information: - Expected to be primarily assigned to one unit per shift, with occasional reassignment based on patient census demands.- Experience in Ortho/Neuro MS departments, Telemetry, PCU, and ED patient care is a plus.At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
