Overview
VTG is seeking a Systems Administrator located in WMA, VA.
Responsibilities
Provide a full-range of network, server, and workstation support for a diverse client base. Remotely troubleshoot client issues or be onsite at a client office, providing superior IT customer service. Maintain strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and productivity software (MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint, Adobe). Have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Group Policies, Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange. Possess an advanced understanding of IP networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required. Minimum of 6 years' experience; a range of skill levels from basic to advanced. Bachelor's Degree (additional 2 years of experience may substitute for a degree). Skills
Analyzing and troubleshooting software applications and network components. Performing technical evaluations of client software, hardware, and management solutions. Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems on Windows servers and desktops. Developing automated and documented processes to streamline operations. Scripting and orchestration: PowerShell, VB Scripts, and Ansible. Managing software/patch deployment configurations to ensure compliance. Developing design and operational documents for supported applications. Providing technical support to application and utility developers. Collaborating with management, engineering, and internal customers. About the company
