Job Opportunity: Server At Holiday Inn Bismarck, North Dakota

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Server for the Holiday Inn Bismarck, North Dakota. Under general supervision, provides prompt and courteous food service to restaurant customers. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us. Responsibilities include: greeting every guest with a smile and positive attitude, preparing and presenting items, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables and area, and following all health codes. Ensures that all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people. Takes guests' food and drink orders and ensures that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner. Assists with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties. Provides a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, health department requirements, and job safety analysis. Maintains and enforces sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen and restaurant area. Follows all applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications and requirements include a high school diploma/secondary qualification or equivalent. Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards is preferred. All associates must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings are required. Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with the company's rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel facilities. Associates who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
