The Role
As the
Lead Advisor (LA) of Corporate Partnerships,
you'll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will
lead the growth of a high impact cause related marketing (CRM) partnerships with corporate partners. The role requires a visionary, strategic, adaptable leader with extensive expertise in the intersection of corporate fundraising and cause related marketing, as well as the strategic ability to envision, create, sell and deliver new CRM opportunities for collaboration and increase impact with corporate partners. Reporting to our Senior Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will collaborate closely with Marketing colleagues and be accountable for leading the strategic vision to raise well over $15M in annual revenue by 2027 from CRM. Working with a wide range of internal colleagues in our Marketing and Program teams, the LA will raise funds both directly on accounts they lead as well as helping other account leads to develop impactful CRM solutions in their accounts. To accelerate revenue growth and impact for children, you will deliver on existing commitments with excellence while unlocking new business opportunities, accelerating thought leadership, and reinforcing the partnership's value and strategic impact both internally and externally.

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Lead Account Strategy and Deliver Revenue across a Partnership Portfolio (40%)
Lead a set of accounts to unlock significant in revenue to enable impact for children.
Develop and drive an industry-focused vision and strategy to create new and innovative propositions that position Save the Children as the partner of choice for the sector
Serve as a company-wide expert in corporate CRM, developing partner-specific strategies that position Save the Children as a premier partner for purpose-driven corporations.
Oversee the delivery of partnership by leading on partner strategic planning, new business prospecting, contract negotiation, high-level problem-solving, and supporting the relevant team(s) as needed.
Build and market compelling industry offerings to create a diversified and resilient partner portfolio
Closely monitor industry trends to inform and evolve strategies.
Advance Agency goals for fundraising, and beyond cash, including program innovation, lead generation, employee engagement and workplace giving.
Lead Cause Related Marketing Efforts within the Corporate Team and in Collaboration with the Marketing Team (40%)
Lead the design and execution of partner-specific CRM campaigns in close collaboration with the Marketing team, aligning with partner CSR objectives and elevating brand impact
Partner with the Marketing team and corporate account leads to translate partner CSR strategies and objectives into compelling and effective cause marketing offerings.
Design and implement a tiered corporate partner benefits framework for cause-related marketing, detailing unique promotional opportunities across tiers to enhance our offering and streamline internal processes.
Ensure partner CRMs are executed consistently and effectively for both our partners and Save.
Identify and leverage emerging trends in cause marketing and purpose-driven partnerships that open new doors with partners and their customers and drive revenue.
Create compelling case studies and materials that demonstrate CRM partnership value, campaign success and learnings.
Collaborate with colleagues in Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, and Impact and Evidence to ensure alignment and integration.
Educate Corporate team on cause marketing best practices and champion partner marketing initiatives across the Marketing & Growth team to drive support and visibility
Champion CRM best practices across internal teams and position Save the Children externally as a thought leader
Guide outside-in value proposition development and concepting based on audience insights and analysis.
Partner with Marketing on the creative development process and production of actual marketing materials to support the CRMs
Serve as a Member of the CP Leadership Team (20%)
Serve as a strategic member the CP Leadership Team, leading projects with notable risk and complexity.
Communicate complex concepts and influence senior executives to adopt new strategies or perspectives
Identify opportunities for improvement and collaboratively work to devise and implement plans that streamline processes and results delivery, and drive continuous improvement across process and outcomes
Mentor and develop staff, fostering CRM expertise and strategic alignment across the team.
Required qualifications for the role
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 10 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in building partnership frameworks and deepening 7-8-figure partnerships in foundation, fundraising or programmatic/policy contexts
Able to navigate highly complex relationships and support others by providing technical advice, guidance and direction related to large partnerships
Experience working with senior philanthropic executives
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate successfully with individuals and teams at all levels
Proven capability to convey complex concepts with clarity and influence senior leaders to adopt strategic recommendations
Excels in managerial and leadership skills to drive team results
Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse global team using insights and influence
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and business builder
Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
Preferred qualifications for the role
Experience working in social impact, with or for the foundation, international development or humanitarian sector
Sales-oriented business environment experience
Experience working within complex global organizations
Compensation
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $131,750 - $147,250 base salary
Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $119,850 - $133,950 base salary
Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $107,950 - $120,650 base salary
The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available
