SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees across multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure the delivery of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. Job duties include:
Managing, training, and coaching General Managers, including conducting management orientation.
Directing and assigning employees to ensure service standards are met.
Overseeing employees and management in various stations (e.g., Fountain & Frozen, Grill, Drive-Thru) to meet operational standards.
Ensuring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices.
Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
Reviewing work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
Monitoring and controlling costs related to food, labor, and inventory.
Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Auditing employment and payroll records.
Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints.
Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
At least three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
Multi-unit supervision experience is required.
Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
Leadership, communication, and basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
