Join Sanitary Disposal, a Waste Connections company, as we seek a dedicated Local Long Haul Truck Driver! In this position, you will be responsible for hauling a 53-foot trailer from our Hermiston site to the landfill in Boardman, OR.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with opportunities for occasional overtime. Starting Pay:

Operate and maneuver a tractor-trailer with a 53-foot trailer safely and efficiently. Follow route instructions provided by the dispatcher and service all assigned customers. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tire pressure. Minimum of 1 year of relevant driving experience. Knowledge of D.O.T. laws and regulations. Deliver courteous customer service and perform additional job-related duties as required. Ability to manage physically demanding tasks. Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening. Capable of reading, writing, and comprehending reports for daily assignments. Maintain a clean driving record. Working Conditions: Physical activity is intensive, requiring the capability to lift, push, or pull objects over 50 pounds. Exposure to physical risks associated with mechanical parts, thus requiring adherence to safety practices.
