This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly within trauma and neuro ICU environments. The ideal candidate will possess Epic experience and demonstrate proficiency in providing high-quality patient care across various Intensive Care Units. Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in multiple ICU settings, including neuro/trauma, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CCU), Pediatric ICU (CPS/VICU), and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU).- Float to different units as needed, including Emergency Department (ED) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for patients awaiting bed placement.- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and conduct assessments to determine patient needs.- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.- Participate in family education and support regarding care plans and patient conditions. Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to practice in (Specify State).- Previous experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.- Proficient in floating to various ICUs and adapting to different clinical environments.- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.- Must complete a competency test within 24 hours of application submission.
