HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Design, develop, document, test, integrate, and modify software for database systems and airborne electronic warfare systems. Create, troubleshoot, and modify utility programs and applications supporting real-time systems. Plan hardware and software development for aviation system modifications. Study information needs, confer with users, analyze systems flow, data usage, work processes, and investigate problems, following the software development lifecycle. Evaluate operational feasibility through analysis, requirements, and solution development. Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code. Lead and mentor other software engineers and developers as needed. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED : Education: BS or equivalent in a STEM field. Experience: 8+ years in related roles. Technical Skills: Software development, systems integration, engineering management. Security Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance. Skills and Abilities: Agile, Scrum Master, teamwork, effective communication. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Naval Aviation electronic intelligence systems, database development/administration.
